The Bear Valley Residents, Inc is the homeowner organization for the New Subdivsion. Bear Valley Residents, Inc. is a non-profit organization formed for the benefit of Bear Valley property owners and to administer the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions of the New Subdivision. BVRI owns and maintains two beaches at Bear Lake, publishes a periodic newsletter for members, and represents the interests of Bear Valley residents on a variety of community and local governmental issues. As a member of BVRI you receive the following benefits:representation before the Alpine County Planning Commission, Board of Supervisors and other agencies as Bear Valley issues arise, an active voice in such community affairs as fire protection, parking, snow removal,architectural review and CC&R enforcement, use of our beautiful Bear Lake beaches during the summer, newsletters, general Bear Valley information. The Bear Valley First Responders are volunteers acting under the supervision of the Alpine County Sheriff's Office and the Bear Valley Fire Department, and in cooperation with the Bear Valley Search & Rescue.
Bear Valley Parents Group was founded in 2005 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. BVPG is managed by 6 board members. BVPG was formed to raise funds to help create and maintain programs for the children of Bear Valley. BVPG currently has three programs running; the 0-5 program, an after-school program and BVSAFE summer camp.
